IRONMAN LANZAROTE: Come experience it with Seaside Los Jameos

It is almost time for Ironman Lanzarote and the island is getting ready to welcome more than 2,000 athletes. Countless triathletes have been training hard for months, getting ready to participate in this competition. Like all triathlons, Ironman Lanzarote consists of three different sporting events: swimming, cycling and running, performed one after the other in that order. In this case, participants will swim a distance of 3.8 km in the open sea; cycle a 180 km bike route through volcanic landscapes typical of this island; and then run a marathon of 42.2 km.   

Participants will not only have fun while doing sport and trying to overcome their personal challenges, but will also enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views of the island. This competition has become one of the most popular races in the legendary IRONMAN events, and the participation rate of professional athletes is massive, as well as the number of volunteers that help organise the event and, of course, spectators, from amateur triathletes to family members. They are all part of this iconic event that every year brings together more and more people who, whether they participate or not, get caught up in this test of physical and mental endurance that athletes face.
